Self-diagnosing, patients search their symptoms on electronic devices, hoping to identify the cause of their ill health. It is not unusual for people to incorrectly self diagnose and conclude that they are suffering from a life threatening illness. This exhibit is informed by the huge increase in online self diagnosis; and the resulting potential costs to the NHS.
